You can typically find me tweeting about musical theatre, working on my blog, or making YouTube videos. (Or staging a one-man show of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet.)
What I'm truly passionate about is telling stories, whether that's through a public relations campaign, history thesis, or Instagram story.
I'm currently doing my Master's degree in Culture, Policy, and Management (that's a fancy term for arts and heritage administration) at City University of London. While I'm in London, I'm a writer for BroadwayWorld and a volunteer at the Charles Dickens Museum and the John Keats House.
I graduated from Elon University, with a double-major in Strategic Communications and History and a minor in French. I was a member of the Honors Fellows program and completed a thesis as part of my four years at Elon. My research was about the effect of Enlightenment-era Parisian salon culture on women and I was awarded a Lumen scholarship of $15,000 to fund it. I was also the History and Geography Department student worker and Head of PR for Elon Tonight, my school's comedy sketch TV show.
I'm happiest when exploring a big city or traveling. I fell in love with New York as a young girl, mostly for its history and theatre scene, and have never moved on. This past summer, I interned at Krupp Kommunications in New York City and spent the summer seeing as many Broadway shows as possible (the results: 21 shows and 4 concerts).
QUICK FACTS
Last book I read: The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Last movie I saw: Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
Last show I saw: The Woman in White (Charing Cross Theatre)
Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw
Myers-Briggs: ENFJ
